This vintage interlocked “UM” monogram is a timeless collegiate look you’ll find throughout Ole Miss’s history of producing scholars and athletes alike. One of their most famous “alums” isn’t actually an alum at all, though – prolific and celebrated author William Faulkner held close ties to Oxford throughout his life, but dropped out after only three semesters.
